		<description>we&#039;ve captured some process dumps at failure and will be escalating through the expression encoder team.

my thoughts are that it could be something to do with the codec on the canopus chip, i.e. a varying implementation or perhaps even an unexpected response that is causing it. Its suprisingly hard to troubleshoot this kind of stuff based on hardware encoders and modern software.
